By early April 2015, Cambodian rice exporters exported Khmer rice more than 200, 000 tons to the around the world, which increased 62.2% compare to 2014. Base on the plan, the Cambodian Government will help to push the rice exporters to export around 1 million tons of rice to the International markets.
Base on the report, there are 66 rice exporting companies in Cambodia. Their biggest markets are the countries in Europe(24 countries), 2 countries in Asian(Malaysia & Singapore), and another 18 countries such as China, Hong Kong, Australia, America & Canada.
